Southern AC Run Club

SAC Run Club is a recreational running group based around Adelaide's southern suburbs catering for runners of all experience and ability levels. If you want to join a group to connect with other runners in the area or want to improve your performance by training in a group environment, then the SAC Run Club is for you. SAC Run Club meets every Friday night in and around the Port Willunga / Seaford area for a varied program of steady runs and specific training sessions. Running Domain

Running Domain is non elitist and open to runners of all abilities. There are a variety of running groups, programs and educational services provided - training for half-marathon and marathon using the Marathon Mentor Program, one-on-one coaching, free group runs and night trail runs.

Women's Recreational Running Network

The WRRN is a joint initiative between Running SA and the Adelaide City Council, aiming to activate underutilised city parks and break down barriers for women's participation in physical activity within the City of Adelaide. The concept involves a FREE run club where women of all ages and abilities can get together under the guidance of a qualified run leader in a non-threatening environment. Trail Running SA

Trail Running SA was established in 2014 to bring together trail runners of all ages, levels and abilities. TRSA is more of a community than an association, bringing together likeminded people with a passion for running around areas of natural terrain of South Australia. Trail Running SA organises regular runs and events (often free of charge) and also supports many other events put on by other organisations, such as Yumigo, Athletics SA and SA Road Runners Club. Accelerate Performance Running

APR aims to develop running through support and performance coaching to athletes, whether recreational or elite in South Australia and interstate. Personal training programmes can be developed, based on an individuals goals, whatever the ability of the athlete. Programs are set by Simon Moran, accredited IAAF and Athletic Australia Distance Coach. Train with the APR squad in Salisbury or coaching can be via correspondence. APR Training Workshops are also run throughout the year in Northern Country SA.

RunFit Coaching

RunFit Coaching provides personal training, running coaching and group training sessions in the Adelaide Southern Suburbs. Coach Hayley Teale provides individualised plans, personal training sessions, running coaching, race plans and group training sessions specifically for runners and those wanting to improve strength and fitness. She also works with children to improve their strength, power and agility to complement their chosen sport.

Adelaide Lazy Runner

Adelaide Lazy Runner offers group running sessions in the Bay area, from Glenelg to Somerton and everywhere in between. Programs are suitable for runners of all abilities and beginners are especially welcome. Improve your running fitness and technique with help from a qualified coach. A range of sessions are available each week, as well as personal coaching, tailored training plans or small group / corporate training to suit your needs and running goals.

Athletics SA Clubs

Clubs affiliated with Athletics SA offer a range of activities and services to their members, including the provision of training facilities, coaching services, social functions and general support of athletes. Members are able to compete for affiliated clubs in Athletics SA track and field competition, as well as out-of-stadium events.

South Australian Masters Athletics

Recently affiliated to Athletics SA, SAMA provides an ongoing competition program for athletes of all abilities, aged 30 years and above. The summer track and field program is held at Santos Stadium every Wednesday evening and the winter running and walking program is held on a Saturday afternoon at various locations in and around Adelaide.

Adelaide Running Crew

The Adelaide Running Crew is a social running group aimed at helping members achieve their running goals through group training sessions conducted in a supportive atmosphere. ARC members have different running goals and abilities - from purely social runners right through to those training for half and full marathons. It's all about running together, having fun and celebrating each others achievements. It's free to join and train with ARC. The ARC Facebook group has the latest training session information.

Little Athletics SA Centres

Little Athletics is a uniquely Australian sport for children aged 3-17 years. As the name suggests, it is based upon the sport of athletics (track and field) and the events are specially modified to suit the ages and abilities of children. A wide range of running, jumping, throwing and walking events is conducted at weekly meets through out the summer across the state. South Australian Race Walking Club

Affiliated to Athletics SA, and competes in ASA track events during the summer. The SARWC operates a winter race walking program open to all age groups and abilities. Club training is held in Adelaide's South Parklands all year round and is overseen by Bob Cruise & Megan Szirom, both Level 4 AA accredited race walking coaches. Yumigo - Australia's Running Partner

With a focus on coaching athletes of all experience to perform well in endurance or ultra events, head coach Ben Hockings (Athletics Australia Level 2 accredited coach) runs regular group training sessions each week and has a range of run coaching packages to suit every endurance runner's needs. Salisbury Recreational Running Group

Based around the northern suburbs, the Salisbury Recreational Running Group was formed to bring together people who are trying to get fit or are looking for other people to run with due to the sheer boredom of running alone. The goal is to generate a group full of people of all abilities so that everyone has someone to run with and therefore stay motivated. There is also a social side to the group if you enjoy a coffee or lunch after a good run.

Southern Running Group

SRG was established in March 2012 in the southern suburbs of Adelaide, with the aim of bringing together like minded people to run and encourage each other in a fun and supportive envionment. SRG meets twice weekly for free group runs in the Southern suburbs. Whilst affiliated with the SARRC, you do not have to be a member to run with SRG. SRG also run Start Running classes, for which there are some fees.

N-R-G (Northern Running Group)

Aptly named, the 'NRG' is a social, non official running formed for the simple purpose of getting out and sharing a few miles with like minded people in the northern region of Adelaide. Join the N-R-G Facebook group to keep abreast of their training runs.

McLaren Vale Running Club

The McLaren Vale Running Club meets outside Southern Vales Chiropractic Clinic at 7:15 am every Saturday for a nice easy 5K, or maybe longer. MVRC also run SARRC Start Running classes, for which there are some fees.

Adelaide University Athletics Club

The Adelaide University Athletics Club is a running club based at Adelaide Uni for any uni students. Weekly term-time training sessions are conducted from the changerooms on the southern end of University Oval.

Adelaide University Triathlon Club - The Blacks

Newly formed in 2013, the AUTC has built a culture that fosters performance and competition for beginners and seasoned triathletes alike. The Blacks provide opportunity for members and friends to learn more about the sport, physiology, performance, nutrition, products and much more through regular workshops. The Smart Fitness Running Club is an open (no cost) group for people who like to run. It's a friendly and welcoming group based at Semaphore on the Lefevre Peninsula, enjoying running on roads, beaches and trails across South Australia. Smart Fitness runners are a diverse group of women and men with ranging running abilities. Some are newer to running and others are more experienced. Runs always start together but all runners run at the pace that suits them.
